Boy Scout Troop 513 Troop 513 has been bringing the Boy Scouting Program to boys in the Deer Valley area for over 30 years. We are a very inclusive boy-led Troop that encourages visitors and new members, both boys and adult Scouters. We at Troop 513 strive to provide a well rounded program of activities while meeting the “Aims of Scouting”: character development, citizenship training, and personal fitness. We emphasize youth leadership and teamwork through the patrol method. Scouts experience personal growth through community service projects and leadership opportunities. Our outdoor program provides opportunities to experience nature and put scouting skills learned in troop meetings into practice. Troop 513 also offers opportunity to be elected into the Order of the Arrow honor society.
